Pō Whakanui 2026: He pō whakanuia ngā ākonga Māori o te tau!
E ngā whānau whānui o Horoeka Haemata, tēnā koutou katoa.
Nau mai, haere mai ki tō tātou nei Pō Whakanui, he pō hei whakanui, hei whakamihi hoki i ngā ekenga me ngā angitu o ā tātou rangatahi ngākau Māori.
We warmly invite you and your whānau to join us for our Pō Whakanui, an evening dedicated to celebrating the achievements of our Māori learners and the growth of te ao Māori within Horoeka Haemata. The evening will provide an opportunity for whānau, ākonga and staff to come together, share kai and acknowledge the hard work and success of our rangatahi and kura.
Te rā: Wednesday 28 October
Doors open: 6:00pm
Wā timata: 6:30pm
Wā whakamutunga: Approximately 8:30pm
Wāhi: Horoeka Haemata Auditorium (Te Kura Tuatahi, 631 Springston Rolleston Road)
Te utu: $15 pākeke/adults, $10 school-aged rangatahi. Free for under-5s, kaumātua and year 13 leavers.
Kākahu: Semi-formal – no jeans, hoodies, singlets or hats.
The evening will include a mihi whakatau, student achievement acknowledgements, whānau announcements, kai, recognition of our year 13 leavers, and an opportunity to celebrate the development of Māori kaupapa across our kura.
